Our recent listing in Berkeley Hills had an ideal location with a fabulous Bay view. While the house was in structurally good shape, the kitchen was a disaster and detracted from the appeal of the house. We recommended that the seller upgrade the kitchen so the house would be in move-in condition. We supervised all aspects of the project — gutting, redesigning and rebuilding the kitchen within six weeks. As a result, we attracted a wide variety of prospective buyers. The seller invested $20,000 and earned about $50,000 more in the sale.
